Frequently Asked Questions:

What can I do if the neck is bent from a cramped position on a hot day?

Simply bend the neck in the the opposite direction for about 20 seconds (or as little as 10 seconds if the VizKID is hot).

Don’t drivers forget to put the VizKID out of sight when leaving the car with their child?

Certainly this will happen, but at least people that walk by will understand that a driver took the time to erect the VizKID, today, so ‘it’s worth it to take a quick look in the back.’

NOTE:  We do ask that drivers be vigilant for the entire process, belting the VizKID in when the child is in back, while placing the VizKID out of sight when taking the child out. Creating a ‘safety zone’ for children in vehicles requires an ongoing community effort.

What do you do when you have a front-seat passenger?

The VizKID can be placed on the back-seat floor.  The real risk of forgetting the child in back is due to the driver being the lone overseer for the child or children, while his or her mind is distracted at an increasing rate.

Is VisibleKIDS, LLC, a non-profit company?

No.  It is difficult and costly for a non-profit company to build sufficient inventory each year to fulfill a large nationwide need. Similar to Newman’s Own Inc., VisibleKIDS will donate 100% of after-tax profit to child-safety organizations throughout the U.S., including Safe Kids, USA, and Kids-and-Cars. Newman’s Own donates to a broad list of charitable organizations.

The Amazingly Practical VizKID is a unique newborn baby gift for parents of both boys and girls.
